Cactus Collision

Petal Play

Two originals have been posted.

First we have Cactus Collision.

Cactus Collision is an original ink painting done on synthetic paper with ink, isopropyl alcohol, metallic mixative, straws, brush, and droppers.

This painting is a fluid art piece using blown air as a controlled tool and some small brushwork.

The cactus done collided and is went splat.

Then we have Petal Play.

Petal Play is an original ink painting done on synthetic paper with ink, isopropyl alcohol, metallic mixative, straws, and droppers.

This painting is a fluid art piece using blown air as a controlled tool, with some metallic detailing with a small brush. The petals fell off the flowers.

Details for both originals:

The painting itself is 5″x7″. (It is matted to 8″x10″).
It is coated in a UV resistant non-yellowing protective museum varnish. This should help protect against fading, but it should still not be hung in direct sunlight.
It is secured in a professional matte with acid free backboard and acid free linen tape. Each matted painting is also in a plastic sleeve.

Find both originals on the Lake & River Etsy shop.

You can also find a digitally manipulated pattern of Cactus Collision at Society6.
